The deeper bodied KM-150 is ideal for Bluegrass, Old-Time, Gospel and the Country and has all of the design features that have defined the A-Model Mandolins for over 80 years. The 12th fret neck/body joint allows easy access to the entire fingerboard. Although this is Kentucky's entry level mandolin, the wealth of professional features that are designed into this instrument are sure to please any player at any level.

The KM-160 Kentucky mandolin has the cutting power required for solo and ensemble work. The basis design elements of this series have continuously evolved and improved over Kentucky's 30-year history. The body shape has been refined for maximum percussive effect. Your chop might just shatter not only your own windows but possibly your neighbors as well! The slim, fast neck is constructed of a single piece of maple and is reinforced with an adjustable truss rod. The neck is attached to the body with a complex dovetail joint for maximum security and sound transmission. The bridge is adjustable for easy adjustment of string action. Tuning is quick and precise with the M120, 14:1 ratio Gotoh tuners. The snakehead peghead shape is overlaid with Indian rosewood and inlaid with pearl and abalone in the unique Arrowhead design.
Kentucky KM-380 Artist A-Model Mandolin

Back in the early 1920s there was a single Master Model mandolin made in the 'A' body style with the same long neck and scale new F-5. This so-called A-5 featured an elevated fingerboard, f-holes and the top and back carving closely replicated the pattern of the F-5. Using this rare vintage example as inspiration the designers at Kentucky mandolins have produced an unbelievable value for modern mandolin players. Here is a professional quality instrument at a remarkably affordable price. The KentuckyKM 380 A-Model mandolin has all the important constructional features of the original, including solid spruce for the top and solid flamed maple for the back. Great care was taken to exactly reproduce the sunburst finish of top and back. The shading and coloring are remarkably true to the original—just as the tone resembles the original in power, richness, and quality. The long neck of the Kentucky KM 380 offers the player the ultimate in playing ease. The moderate price makes the KM-380 Kentucky mandolin accessible to all.

Kentucky KM-855 Artist F-Model Mandolin Vintage Amberburst

The pedigree is noble and a close look at the Kentucky KM-855 shows that the DNA is vintage. From the split-lip neck/body joint to the delicate mother-of-pearl inlays gracing the fretboard and peghead, the KM-855 has the traditional look and feel associated with the classic instruments of the mid-1920s. One chop and you will know that magic is there too. An abbreviated fingerboard extension allows you to dig out the fat tone without the accompanying pick clatter on the fretboard. A comfortable radiused ebony fingerboard significantly reduces left hand fatigue. The thin nitro lacquer finish offers superb protection without the tone degradation associated with thicker alternatives. It's attention to the details that sets these mandolins apart from the rest.
